Arbor Day 2013

The Office of Sustainability hosted a 2013 Arbor Day tree planting April 25th and around 40 student volunteers planted 39 trees along Harrison Street, contributing to the beautification of campus. Sustainability Director Michael Gulich also announced upgrades to Purdue’s Arboretum project, including a trail for identifying and learning about trees using smart phones.  Gulich said over 400 trees have been planted around campus during the past 3 years.
