Red (Attractive red fruits (0.3" long by 0.25" wide) can be showy at close range; persist well into the fall)

Tolerates a variety of soil pH and types, except the very wet
Diagnostic Characteristics:
Leaves are 0.1-0.5" long and less wide, alternate, simple, broad-elliptic. Acute at ends and mucronate at apex. Branching occurs with a distinct herring-bone pattern.
