Tyler Trent Student Gate

Tyler Trent was a Purdue Student and became a symbol of Purdue football pride during his time at this university. While he fought a tough battle with Osteosarcoma, he did not let it take away his joy in attending Purdue. He was an embodiment of what a Boilermaker truly is and always will be. Tyler used his platform to raise awareness and money for pediatric cancer research, and those efforts continue to this day. The Tyler Trent Student Gate was named in his honor on September 7, 2019 on what would have been his 21st birthday.
