When Dreams Dance Sculpture

“When Dreams Dance” by sculptor David Caudill was constructed in 2004 and originally between Schleman and Hovde Halls to honor former deans Barbara Cook, who passed away in April 2013, and Beverly Stone, who passed away in 2003. The free-form artwork is a direct reflection of their efforts to help foster a free spirit, open mind, and optimistic worldview in students. In 2022, the sculptor was moved in front of new the Schleman hall.
