Additional Information

The Korean Littleleaf Boxwood does best if it is planted away from strong winter sun and wind to prevent winter burn (browning of the leaves). Its slow growth and functional form is best placed in those moderate shade areas in the landscape. Important variants include var. japonica- larger leaves and faster growth rate, var. koreana-hardy to zone 4, compact form, and very small leaves, and 'Wintergreen'- maintains bright green color during winter (var. koreana form).
