Large (3-8" long) leaves are opposite, simple, and deeply lobed, resembling large red oak leaves with a white tomentose below. Large leaf scars are triangular. Double, white florets tightly-packed into full conical panicles.

Gatsby Moon Oakleaf Hydrangea is has double flowers that as the shrub matures fade from a creamy white to a light green color.
