Leaves (1.5-3.5" long by 0.25-0.75" wide) are alternate, simple, and narrow-lanceolate to elliptical. New leaves emerge with strong pubescence that eventually falls off of the upper surface at maturity.

Additional Information

The Willowleaf Pear is an uncommon, but elegant tree with arching branches covered with silvery, narrow, willow-like foliage. Attractive clusters of white flowers appear in the spring. Severe fireblight susceptibility.
