These blooms are 2 to 3 inches wide and range from semi double to fully double. They have intense golden rays tightly surrounding a darker, deep orange-yellow center cone. Since both the ray and disk flowers can produce seeds, they are excellent for attracting butterflies and later providing food for songbirds.
 Foliage Notes:
The leaf foliage is coarse, ovate to lanceolate, and features sharply serrated edges. The leaves are thick and covered in fine bristly hairs, which give them a rough sandpapery texture.

They are upright, rigid, and like their leaves, have rough, bristly hairs.
