 Diagnostic Characteristics:
Bark is light grey and extremely smooth with glabrous, remotely shallowly serrulate leaves measuring 9-10 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. Foliage is somewhat red-tinged during emergence later shifting to dark green.

Additional Information

The Heart-Leaved Willow in the wild is found along riverbanks, this tree is used for erosion control and thrives in wet soil.
