The glossy leaves (4" long by 1" wide) are alternate, simple, evergreen, oblong, and acuminate with 2-4 glands present underneath. Leaves of this cultivar come out 45-60 degree angles from the stem.

Additional Information

'Otto Luyken' is a broad, compact evergreen shrub that produces numerous small, fragrant, white flowers in upright clusters in mid to late spring. This plant is shade tolerant, pH adaptable, and salt spray tolerant, but requires good drainage. Do not over fertilize.
