 Diagnostic Characteristics:
Coral Bells is a clump forming perrenial with maple or ivy like leaves which are deep purple in color above the beet-red that is beneath. Foliage color varies; in the summer it may fade to a bronze-green. Tiny flowers that are pinkish white and bell shaped, extend well above the foliage mound and typically reach a height ranging from 15 to 24 inches in the late spring/early summer.

Coral bells does best when grown in organically rich soils that are well drained and in full sun. To encourage continuos bloom, remove the old flower stems. Every 3-4 years in the spring, the clump should be divided.
