Flower Notes:
Small, creamy white flowers appear on airy panicles in late spring to early summer.
Foliage Notes:
Dark purple to almost black leaves are speckled with contrasting hot pink spots. Pink spots fade to cream as the summer progresses. These leaves are rounded, lobed, and form a compact basal mound up to 10-12” tall and 14” wide.
Stem Notes:
Slender, purple, stems rise above the foliage mound and are 24-30” tall.
Fruit Notes:
Insignificant, dry fruit capsules contain tiny black seeds.
Soil Notes:
Best grown in organically rich, humusy, medium moisture, well-drained soils.
