Flower Notes:
Tiny, whitish flowers appear on airy panicles in late spring to early summer.
Foliage Notes:
The rounded, lobed, dark purple leaves form a basal mound up to 1' tall which may spread to 2' wide.
Stem Notes:
Slender, wiry stems rise above the foliage mound, typically 24-28" tall.
Fruit Notes:
Tiny capsule containing thousands of microscopic black seeds.
Soil Notes:
Best grown in organically rich, humusy, medium moisture, well-drained soils.
