Flower Notes:
Small purplish-red flowers in pendulous corymbs appear in early spring before the leaves.
Foliage Notes:
Rounded, palmate leaves (3-6” across) are deeply divided into toothed and cut, ovate to lance-shaped lobes. Leaves turn yellow and red in fall.
Fruit Notes:
Winged samaras (1” long) ripen in late summer to early fall.
Soil Notes:
Best grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil.
