Flower panicles are showy, and are quite long and will turn fromyellow to beige. Seed plumes will stay attached into the winter months adding texture to the winter landscape. Occasional problems with rust in hot and humid climates. Insects that may cause problems are Japanese beetles, thrips, and spider mites.

Additional Information

'Rotstrahlbusch' is used for the burgundy-red color it has in the fall. Similar vertical clump to 'Northwind'.
