Leaves are a dark, lustrous green, opposite, simple, 3-6" in length and width, slightly coarse toothed, with 3 to 5 lobes that come to a fine point. Samaras are 1-1.75" in length and create a horse-shoe shape.

Additional Information

The Legacy Sugar Maple is one of the most used Sugar Maple cultivars. It is known for its attractive oval form and excellent scarlet-orange fall color. Legacy is tolerant to dense shade, leaf tatter, and mild drought and is a relatively long-lived tree.
